Bureau Veritas has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all the shares of Amdel Holdings Pty Limited, an Australian leader in minerals testing. The sale agreement is unconditional and is expected to be completed by May 7, 2008.
The inspection of mineral products calls for weight and quality checks. These checks can be carried out at various stages of the product's life cycle, and they include checks which are carried out on the extraction or processing site, in warehouses, at loading/unloading facilities and on board ships.
