Testing determines a product or material’s characteristics in a laboratory, or on-site. It provides businesses with confidence that products and materials have the required properties in terms of safety and quality, and that they comply with specifications and applicable rules and regulations.
Reduce risk and gain confidence via our 400 laboratories worldwide
Bureau Veritas’ testing and evaluation services reduce risks, support commercialization, and prove the quality, safety and compliance of products and materials. They are principally used for commodities such as oil, petrochemicals, metals and minerals, or agricultural products; and consumer goods, including toys, textiles, electronics and food.
We deliver testing via 400 laboratories around the world. These are generally located near client sites and strategic hubs, such as ports (for commodities) and major manufacturing locations in the Far East (for consumer products). Tests range from geoanalytic testing and evaluation and grade control analysis of minerals, to component and product quality, safety and connectivity testing for wireless devices.
Bureau Veritas is also a leader in non-destructive testing (NDT) for industry, with state-of-the art services supported by our active research and development program, and our worldwide network of Technical Centers. NDT is used to assess equipment and structures to check for damage and confirm reliability. Using techniques such as radiography or ultrasonics, it is valuable because it does not create damage, and helps maintain or extend the life of industrial equipment.
