Bureau Veritas was first set up in Indonesia in 1986 in Marine Business. Through out the years to 1998 Bureau Veritas’s business expansion in Transportation, International Trade, and Government Services are represented by local agents.
Bureau Veritas full presence in Indonesia started in 2001 where PT. Bureau Veritas Indonesia is legally registered and approved by the BKPM, “The Investment Coordinating Board” of Indonesia.
Bureau Veritas Indonesia is operating from its Head Office in Jakarta and other branch offices in Batam, Medan, Surabaya and Samarinda, while its businesses in other cities likes in Palembang and Makasar are coordinated from their closest Jakarta Head Office and their branch offices.

Client needs: to ensure the hygiene of store focusing salad bar and restaurant area,
fishery, fruit and vegetables, bakery, butchery, fresh receiving area
also employee canteen to prevent any accident that could lower the image
of Carrefour.

hygiene and product quality audit delivers by skilled auditors with
background of education and experience in food hygiene. Hygiene
Checklist prepared together with Management of Carrefour to accommodate
client specific needs and referred to national and international
standard.
ISO 22000 – Information Technology (IT) Service Management Standard for PT. IBM Indonesia
Client needs: to ensure the consistency of Information Technology Service Delivery and Technical Support to their valuable clients.
BV offer: provide
IT Service audit based on ISO 20000 that will be deliver by skilled
auditors with background. Initial Assessment will be conducted on end of
September 2010. Main Assessment on 4th week of October 2010.
HAZID/HAZOP for PT. E1 Pertagas, Indonesia (EPC Contractor: Tripatra)
Client needs: doing Study for HAZID/HAZOP of their new NGL Facilities in South Sumatra.
Bureau Veritas offer: a
combination of foreign & local knowledge for HAZID HAZOP study. To
