Bureau Veritas Receives Two CNAS Accreditations

January 19, 2009, Hong Kong – Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services (BVCPS) is pleased to announce that it has received new accreditations from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) for two of its laboratories in China.

The accreditations issued by CNAS, the national accreditation body of China, demonstrate that BVCPS laboratories in Hong Kong and Panyu, Guangzhou have the capacity to provide testing services against relevant accreditation criteria. The accredited laboratory in Hong Kong provides testing for toy product categories while the Panyu, Guangzhou laboratory focuses on serving softlines and footwear industries.

Established under the authorization of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA), CNAS maintains a national accreditation system for conformity assessment bodies to provide services that meet international and national requirements.
