Benin Single Window extended to Export and Transshipment
Benin Single Window deployment continues. Bureau Veritas BIVAC - Soget have completed the preliminary steps leading to the Go Live of the export and transshipment modules. The Ministry of Maritime Economy has officially validated the content and the forecast of implementation.
Benin Single Window was already operating for imports and transit shipments. Since July 25, 2012 the Single Window also deals with exports and transshipment operations. This is a major step in the evolution process as all flows transiting through the port of Cotonou are now handled. Trainings have been delivered to the stakeholders involved.
