AMAZON EXTENDS LAUNCH OF FFP/SIOC CHARGEBACKS UNTIL SEPTEMBER 3, 2019
Bureau Veritas Packaging Testing Supports Amazon's Frustration-Free Packaging Certification
Amazon has extended the window to be ISTA 6-Amazon certified on large SIOC and FFP packages. Amazon will now issue chargebacks starting September 3rd for incoming non-certified inventory arriving at their Fulfillment Centers. Any incoming inventory that they have pre-determined should be in certified SIOC or FFP packaging at that time will be charged a $1.99 fee per unit.
It is not too late to avoid chargebacks by submitting your item for ISTA 6-Amazon testing. Contact Bureau Veritas today to talk testing!
After September 3rd, Amazon will require many items to be packaged in certified "Frustration Free Packaging" or require them to ship in their own containers (SIOC). This process requires a packaging performance test performed by an Amazon approved laboratory.
