Taiwan, 2 April, 2019 – At the latest PTCRB meeting in March 2019 held in Denver, USA, PTCRB presented their Award of Excellence to Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services' wireless laboratory in Taiwan for their outstanding work at the PTCRB. This is the second consecutive year that Bureau Veritas' Taiwan wireless laboratory has received the outstanding performance award from PTCRB.
Established in 1997 by North American Mobile Network Operators, the PTCRB provides a certification program for wireless devices supporting GERAN (GSM), UTRAN and E-UTRAN (LTE) technologies. PTCRB certification is based on standards developed by 3GPP, OMA and other SDO's recognized by the PTCRB.
The main criteria for the “PTCRB Award of Excellence" is a laboratory’s capabilities, quantity and quality of certified products
and the contribution to establish the most competitive testing facility for LTE technologies and critically the latest 5G NR related
