May 19, 2017, Buffalo, New York – Curtis-Straus, LLC, A Bureau Veritas Company, is pleased to announce that Scott Lambert was elected to the TCB Council Board of Directors, serving as treasurer.
The TCB Council provides a forum for dialogue between the FCC and the TCB's (Telecommunication Certification Body) and facilitates activities geared toward the improvement of TCB technical and administrative performance. A Telecommunication Certification Body is an accredited organization with the authority to issue Grants of Certification for compliance with Federal Communications Commission Rules & Regulations.
Scott has been on the TCB Council Board of Directors since 2015 and has been a contributing member of associated Standard Development Organizations since 2002. He has been a member of the Administrative Council for Terminal Attachment (ACTA) since 2002 and currently holds the elected position of ACTA Chair.

Scott has 20 years of experience within the Testing, Inspection and Certification industry. Currently he is the Certification Manager at Curtis-Straus, LLC, responsible for the management of all aspects of Curtis-Straus’ Product Safety Certification (CSPSC) program operating as an OSHA recognized NRTL and Canadian Standards Council (SCC) Certification Body, Telecom and Wireless TCB/FCB programs, EPA ENERGY STAR and Canada NRCan Energy Efficiency certification programs.
