Railway operators expect their supply chain to remain competitive, and to
provide proven solutions for cars, facilities and operating equipment that meet
high quality standards
Solution
IRIS is the International Railway Industry
Standard led by UNIFE (European Rail Industry Association) and largely
recognized by railway stakeholders such as system manufacturers and railway
operators. IRIS as the quality standard is requested in Europe and undergoing
worldwide development in China, Russia and other Asian and American countries.
Based on an internationally recognized ISO/TS 22163:2017 standard, which
includes specific application requirements for rail organizations as well as
the ISO 9001 quality standard, IRIS is moving the milestone to become ISO
Technical standard.
The aim of IRIS is to improve the quality and reliability of rolling stock, signaling and infrastructure by improving the whole supply chain.
