Respecting Russian safety law on the goods you wish to import

Business Challenge

There is a wave of modernization in Russia today. Factories are being updated, equipment is being renewed. Many foreign companies choose to import modern equipment into Russia. To control these imports, and protect consumers and the environment, the Russian government requires a Fire Safety Certificate for some types of product and equipment, as a guarantee of quality and fire safety. A major difficulty for many foreign companies is how to approach the administrative process in Russia.

Solution

What is the Fire Safety Certificate? The Fire Safety Certificate is part of the fire safety certification system (known by the Russian initials SSPB). It is the document you need to prove that your product or equipment complies with Russian fire safety laws.
