What is project certification?

The purpose of Project Certification according to IEC 61400-22 is to independently evaluate whether a specific wind farm is

designed and built taking into account the external conditions at the intended location and in conformity with the applicable

standards. It covers the wind turbines and their support structures and can also include other installations such as offshore

substations, power cables or met masts.
